A wish for every eligible child

Each year, thousands of Australian children are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Our mission is to create a life-changing wish for every one of them.

With 700 kids on a Wish Journey in 2019, every dollar helps grant more wishes, which is why your support is so important.

Ways you can help

Transforming lives

A Make-A-Wish wish is not a fleeting gift - each child's Wish Journey is carefully planned and delivered over several stages to create a positive, lasting impact.

  • Wishes are designed to complement a child's medical treatment, working to calm, distract and inspire at a time they need it most.
  • When a wish is realised, a child discovers that despite their situation, anything is possible.

About our wishes

About us

As one of Australia's most reputable charities, Make-A-Wish partners with sick kids, their families and medical teams to grant wishes as unique as the children who imagine them.

Wish kids are our boss - we start every Wish Journey by sparking their imagination! Then we put our teams, volunteers and supporters to work to make it happen.

Together, our #WishForce has delivered more than 10,000 life-changing wishes since 1985, and counting!
